Man killed by grenade explosion in Podil district of Kyiv

On 4 December, a grenade exploded in a private house in the Podil district of Kyiv. The owner of the house was killed in the explosion.
This was reported by the Kyiv police, Censor.NET reports.
"Today, around 16:50, the Kyiv police received information about an explosion in a private house on Zamkovetska Street. The investigative team of the district police department, the State Emergency Service and doctors were immediately dispatched to the scene. According to preliminary information, the owner of the house, a Kyiv resident born in 1950, died as a result of the explosion," the statement said.
It is noted that there was no information about other victims.
It was later reported that it had been preliminarily established that the explosion was caused by a grenade detonation in the yard near the house.
Criminal proceedings were initiated under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which is premeditated murder with an additional mark of "accident".
