Democrats in U.S. Senate introduced new draft law that includes aid to Ukraine and Israel

Democratic senators presented a defence package worth about $111 billion, which includes assistance to Ukraine and Israel, as well as funding for measures aimed at protecting the US southern border
This is reported by The Hill, Censor.NET citing Ukrayinska Pravda.
The draft law provides for more than $15 billion to support Ukraine, in particular in the areas of "military training, intelligence sharing" and "strengthening the presence in the area of responsibility of the European Command." It also allocates $10.6 billion to help Israel, of which $4 billion is planned to be spent on missile defence and $1.2 billion to accelerate the development of the "Iron Ray" missile defence system.
It also includes $43.6 billion for measures aimed at increasing the country's arms and ammunition production capacity, investing in the US submarine industrial base and increasing its stockpile.
Among the provisions that Democrats highlighted in the package is the allocation of approximately $1.4 billion to hire teams of immigration judges, including paralegals, lawyers, lawyers' assistants, court administrators, translators, and other support staff.
The document is expected to be put to the first procedural vote on Wednesday, 6 December. However, the vote on the draft law may fail, as Republicans insist on more aggressive proposals to secure the southern border.
