Ukrainians on front lines experienced supply problems due to blockade of border in Poland, - NYT

The blockade of the border by Polish carriers led to problems with supplies for the front. Cargoes with military aid were stuck in huge queues.
The New York Times writes about it, Censor.NET reports.
The publication cites the words of the defender of Ukraine Oleksandr. He said that his unit was waiting for the delivery of two-night vision devices that were stuck at the border.
"To block the country's borders during a full-scale invasion, you have to be completely detached from reality. The hands of the blockers are covered in the blood of people who are waiting for the necessary help," he said.
Volodymyr Shul, a military man who coordinates volunteer assistance for the 63rd Mechanized Brigade, takes a similar position. He says that he does not understand how countries that have a personal interest in the victory of Ukraine and have been one of its most generous allies can participate in the blockade at one of the most difficult moments of the war.
Taras Chmut, head of the "Come Back Alive" foundation, said that the blockade of the Polish border led to several weeks of delays in the delivery of critically important drones, electronics, and pickup trucks.
Military equipment manufacturers are also suffering because of delays at the border in the supply of machine parts, as well as components for power units used in drone engines and radios.
Businesses are not getting enough components; supply chains are disrupted. This applies to both military equipment and its production. To even assemble drones in Ukraine, they need to be brought from somewhere, - said Yuliya Klymenko, head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Transport and Infrastructure.
