Ruscists transfer assault troops to Kupiansk direction - Land Forces
The Russian invaders in the Kupiansk direction count more on the human factor than on equipment.
This was stated by the head of the public relations service of the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Fito, Censor.NET reports with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.
"The enemy is now moving its assault units to the Kupiansk direction to intensify assault operations. Still, they are counting more on the human factor than on equipment," he said.
According to him, the Russian occupants are active throughout the entire area of responsibility of the Khortytsia OSG (Operational-Strategic Group). In total, seven enemy attacks were repelled in the Kupiansk-Lyman direction yesterday.
"The enemy is trying to capture Synkivka in order to organize a foothold for an attack on Kupiansk in the future. Fighting also continues near Teren and Vesele," added Fito.
In addition, the ruscists are actively using aviation: 17 air strikes in this direction yesterday. The enemy also used 16 kamikaze drones and fired 477 artillery and mortar rounds.
"Our defenders managed to reduce the number of Russian occupants on Russian soil by 224 people, destroy 23 pieces of equipment, including one tank and three armored fighting vehicles," Fito summarized.
