Enemy is transferring reserves to Kupiansk direction, their losses there are serious, - Ground troops
Currently, the enemy is conducting active assaults to capture Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. The occupiers plan to use the city as a bridgehead for further offensives to the west.
This was stated by the head of the public relations service of the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Volodymyr Fitio, on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET informs with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
As Fitio recalled, active military operations in the area began at the beginning of October and continue. In the past day alone, 9 enemy attacks were repulsed near Synkivka, which the enemy plans to capture for a further offensive on Kupiansk.
At the same time, according to the head of the public relations service of the Ground Forces Command, Kupiansk can become a springboard for an offensive to the West.
"In addition, we see that the enemy is now transferring the reserves of assault battalions there and is thus trying to compensate for the losses it will suffer. The losses there are quite serious," Fitio said.
During the past day, December 15, the enemy:
- used 2 kamikaze drones;
- carried out 258 attacks.
Our military continues to reduce the population of Russian terrorists in the territory of Ukraine. In particular, 258 Russians were eliminated and 14 units of enemy military equipment were destroyed, including 3 tanks. The day before yesterday, December 14, the Armed Forces destroyed 9 tanks and 10 APCs.
"The enemy actively uses both equipment and human resources for the offensive. Usually, equipment is more protected, and human resources do not play a role in them. They throw people on assaults, combat reconnaissance, and just meat assaults, not counting losses," added the head of the public relations service of the command of the Ground Forces of the AFU.
