Criminal proceedings have been opened on discovery of technical device in one of potential locations of Zaluzhnyi, - SSU
A technical device was found in one of the premises that could have been used by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi for work in the future. Criminal proceedings have been opened over this fact.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in a commentary by the SSU press service.
"The Security Service of Ukraine has opened a criminal investigation into the discovery of a technical device in one of the potential locations of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi. The proceedings were opened under Article 359, Part 2 (illegal acquisition, sale or use of special technical means of obtaining information) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," the statement said.
The SSU stressed that the equipment was not found directly in Zaluzhnyi's office, but in one of the premises that could be used by him for work in the future.
According to preliminary data, the found device was inoperable. No data storage devices or means of remote transmission of audio recordings were found. The technical device will be sent for examination.
