"One soldier is six civilians who pay taxes" - Zelensky
President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on mobilisation in Ukraine and the General Staff’s proposal to mobilise an additional 500,000 people into the Armed Forces.
The head of state said this during a press conference, Censor.NET reports.
"When we talk about this or that mobilisation, we must know that one soldier is six people. These are six people in civilian life who pay taxes. So just take 500,000 people and multiply them by six. And understand how I, the government, all of us, can find 3 million more to the number we have. Plus three million taxpayers since January. This is the task," the President said.
