Switzerland will allocate almost $14 million in financial aid to Ukraine
The government of Switzerland announced the allocation of additional financial aid for Ukraine in the winter period in the amount of 13.66 million dollars.
This is stated in the message of the Government of Switzerland, Censor.NET informs with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
Faced with the harsh challenges of an unrelenting winter, millions in Ukraine need help. In response, the Swiss federal government supports the affected Ukrainian population with targeted actions and additional assistance in the amount of 11.8 million Swiss francs," the message said.
According to the post, the money will go to NGOs providing vital winter aid.
"This aid made it possible to repair almost 1,000 apartments and houses and distribute heating to approximately 1,300 households in the frontline areas," added the Swiss government.
It is reported that the total investment in the winter period from Switzerland to Ukraine is about 26 million Swiss francs, which is about 30 million dollars.
