Ihnat on Russia’s Su-34: They produce 2-3 fighters per year
Due to sanctions, Russia can produce Su-34 fighters in small numbers. The loss of such an aircraft is serious.
This was announced by Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat, Censor.NET reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
"Production (of Su-34 aircraft - Ed.) takes a lot of time, especially under sanctions. They (the occupiers - Ed.) need imported components, unfortunately, they continue production," he said.
According to him, last year the Russians produced a batch of two or three Su-34s.
"Let's hope that we will destroy more than Russia is capable of producing," the spokesman added.
Ihnat said that the Su-34 is a modern aircraft from which Russians drop guided bombs and X-59 missiles.

On December 22, 2023, the Commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk said that the Ukrainian military had shot down three Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers in the southern direction.
On the evening of December 24, the Ukrainian Air Force hit a Russian Su-34 fighter jet with anti-aircraft missiles in the Mariupol direction.
