"Batkivshchyna" ("Fatherland" - ed.note) proposed "concept of fair mobilization"

A new wave of mobilization is unavoidable, but the government’s task is to make it fair and reasonable, one that will strengthen our army and bring victory closer, rather than stir up society.

This was stated by Yuliia Tymoshenko in her YouTube video, describing the concept of fair mobilization developed by the Batkivshchyna team, Censor.NET reports.

As reported, the Batkivshchyna leader criticized the government's draft law on mobilization, calling it repressive and unconstitutional. At the same time, Yuliia Tymoshenko's team has prepared its own proposals to solve the mobilization problem.

First of all, it is necessary to double the salaries of soldiers who have been fighting at the front for more than a year and a half, and those who do not feel able to stay at the front even with increased remuneration - to grant a year's leave.

The Batkivshchyna team also believes that an important task is to increase the motivation of volunteer fighters to join the army, in particular by increasing their financial support, providing housing, social protection for children, and guaranteed medical insurance in case of injury.

"Volunteer training should last at least six months. People cannot be driven into the proud Ukrainian army by punitive raids, grabbing them on the streets and throwing them into the trenches," Yuliia Tymoshenko is convinced.

In addition, it is essential to clearly define the criteria for people who are not subject to mobilization. Batkivshchyna deputies propose to exempt under-27 men, women, students, researchers, teachers, educators, people with disabilities of I, II, III groups from the draft, and not to mobilize highly qualified employees of enterprises and parents with three or more minor children.

To implement the concept of "fighting with weapons, not people," Yuliia Tymoshenko insists on creating an innovation fund for investment and development of private enterprises that can produce weapons for the front, including drones, ammunition, equipment, sights, etc.

"I believe that common sense, professionalism, competence, and correct actions will prevail, not chaos, mistakes, repression, and pressure. We will not achieve anything with this. But we can defend the country by deeds if we act without panic - reasonably, rationally and fairly," Yuliia Tymoshenko emphasized.

According to her, the implementation of the above norms does not require the adoption of a separate law, but if the government decides to consider the government's draft law, the Batkivshchyna party in parliament will submit its proposals in the form of amendments and insist on their full consideration, as well as demand the removal of clauses that introduce criminal liability for failure to appear at the military recruitment office, for failure to create an electronic account, for failure to pass the military medical examination, etc.
