Ukraine is and will remain one of France’s priorities - Foreign Minister Sejourne

The new head of the Foreign Ministry of France, Stéphane Sejourne, after arriving in Kyiv, assured that France would continue to support Ukraine, despite the increasing number of crises in the world.
He said this during a joint statement to the press with his Ukrainian colleague Dmytro Kuleba, Censor.NET informs with reference to "Interfax-Ukraine".
"Despite the increasing number of crises in the world, Ukraine is and will remain one of France's priorities. This is one of the main messages we are sending you. Today, Ukraine defends the main and fundamental values and principles of international law, the security values of Europe and the French," he said.
Sejourne emphasized that the military aggression of the Russian Federation has been going on for almost two years "with terrible consequences for Ukraine, Europe, and the world."
"Russia hopes that Ukraine and its allies will tire faster than it does. But we assure you in return that we are ready to continue supporting Ukraine's resistance to the aggressor," the minister said.
He also honored the memory of fallen Ukrainian soldiers and their families.
