Fedorov urged Ukrainians to assemble FPV drones at home

Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov called on Ukrainians to take free training and assemble FPV drones at home. He recommended the People’s Drone project by Victory Drones from the Dignitas technical assistance fund.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the minister's Facebook page.
"During the full-scale war, the government changed the poles for drone manufacturers by removing blockers and creating conditions for them. This gave a start to mass production. That's why I said that a million FPV drones in a year is a realistic goal. Now production is developing, and while companies are gaining momentum, everyone can personally move Ukraine to victory, even in the rear," said Fedorov.
He added that a free course has now been launched to teach how to assemble FPV drones at home.
"This is an engineering course that will teach you how to build a 7-inch FPV drone at home. During the course, you will have access to lectures, Zoom with lecturers, a list of components and a must-have list of tools and materials to purchase, as well as access to a community of engineers where you can consult and ask questions," Fedorov wrote.
The minister says that once the FPV drone is assembled, it can be handed over to Victory Drones instructors and, if it passes all the quality checks and can lift the weight required for field conditions, it will be handed over to the military.
Fedorov noted that the course starts every two weeks.
"The course participants have already delivered more than 100 drones to the military. In total, more than 80% of them came to the Victory Drones instructors in good working condition, while the rest needed some work. This is a very high rate for a pilot assembly," he added.
