War in Ukraine to dominate Davos forum - Duda

This year, the war in Ukraine will be one of the main topics at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
This was stated by Polish President Andrzej Duda during a statement to the media in Warsaw on Monday after a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk at the Presidential Palace, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"I think that, like last year, the case of Ukraine will also dominate this year (at the Davos forum - Ed.). This is one of the most important topics today: for the war to end with Ukraine's victory," Duda said.
He added that this victory would lie in the implementation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's peace plan, which provides for the return of the Russian-occupied territories to Ukraine and the restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty within internationally recognised borders.
Duda said that talks on the Peace Formula were held in Davos at the level of national security and foreign policy advisers, with the head of the Polish Presidential Bureau for International Policy Mieszko Pawlak taking part. The President of Poland noted that more and more countries are participating in these meetings, which is a "good signal". He stressed that 17 other countries have joined this initiative, where the search for a solution to the difficult situation in Ukraine continues.
Duda also informed that during his visit to Davos, he will have a number of meetings within the framework of the Ukraine House. In particular, he noted that he would take part in an exhibition dedicated to civilian victims of Russian crimes in Ukraine.
