Umierov discusses Black Sea demining initiative with Romanian counterpart Tilvar
Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustem Umierov and his Romanian counterpart Angel Tilvar discussed the MCM Black Sea demining initiative.
Umierov posted this on his Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
The minister told Tilvar about the situation at the front and thanked Romania for its "steadfast support," in particular for the decision to participate in the F-16 pilot training program.
"We look forward to strengthening defense cooperation between our countries," he said.
The two sides also agreed to exchange visits to strengthen the dialogue.
Earlier, Turkey, Romania, and Bulgaria formed a coalition to search for mines in the Black Sea.
