West should change strategy of supporting Ukraine - Rinkevics

Western allies should move from supporting Ukraine "as much as it takes" to a strategy "to the victorious end".
This was stated by Latvian President Edgars Rinkevičs in an interview with CNBC, Censor.NET reports.
In his opinion, the West needs to change its tactics in supporting Ukraine.
Rinkevics believes that Ukraine's allies should move from supporting Kyiv "as much as it takes" to a strategy that supports the country until it wins the war with Russia.
"All those voices who say that we should probably hold some kind of political process, negotiations or discussions, somehow they don't hear what Putin is saying. Putin says that he is ready to fight this war to the end," the Latvian president said.
Rinkevichs also expects that "common sense will prevail" regardless of political processes not only in the US but also in the whole of Europe, referring to the upcoming elections to the European Parliament.
