"We need frozen assets of Russian Federation, not frozen conflict" – Kuleba

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba emphasized the importance of transferring frozen Russian assets to Ukraine.

He said this at a joint briefing with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron in Davos, Censor.NET reports with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.

"When we hear the arguments of some experts or thinkers that Ukraine might have to freeze the conflict, our answer is simple: we need frozen Russian assets, not a frozen conflict. This should be the way forward to send a clear message to everyone in the world: if you decide to break the rules, you will be forced to pay for it," the minister emphasized.

Kuleba noted that if this is not clarified now, the number of interstate conflicts and escalations in the world will increase, and the cost of resolving them will be much higher than the cost of helping Ukraine.
