Specifics of Bayraktar use in war have changed – Ambassador Bodnar

Ukraine’s Ambassador to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar said that the relevance of Bayraktar drones in the war has not declined, but there is a different method of using them.
Censor.NET reports with reference to Suspilne.
"Now, since the front line is more or less stable, and the air defense system (of the Russian Federation - Ed.) is deeply echeloned, it is inappropriate to use Bayraktar for its intended purpose to strike enemy forces, because, like any aircraft, they are quite vulnerable to air defense. Therefore, they are used for completely different purposes," Bodnar explained.
The diplomat said that Ukraine is supplied not only with Bayraktar TV2, but also with certain components that help develop new types of UAVs.
"All of this is a complementary interaction in the defense industry. And, of course, the construction of the Bayraktar plant in Ukraine and the production of these drones with the "Made in Ukraine" stamp are not off the agenda," he added.
