Senate’s next goal after stopgap budget is funding for Ukraine – Democratic leader Schumer

Biden’s request for $100 billion for national security, including funding for Ukraine, will be the next target of the US Senate.
This was announced on Twitter(X) by the leader of the Democratic majority in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, Censor.NET reports.
According to the politician, after the adoption of a stopgap budget to avoid a "shutdown" - the suspension of the US government, the Senate should resolve the issue of additional funding for national security as soon as possible.
"Our national security, our friends abroad, and the future of democracy demand nothing less," Schumer wrote.
As noted, the US Senate passed a bill designed to prevent a federal government shutdown due to lack of funding.
