Macron: Our commitment is to make Russia’s victory impossible
French President Emmanuel Macron assured Ukraine of further support in its defense against Russia’s aggressive war.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Bild.
"We are not at war with Russia, but our duty is to make its victory impossible. We cannot allow Russia to believe that it can win the war," he said.
According to Macron, a Russian victory would mean the end of European security.
"That is why we continue to support Ukrainians. To do this, we train Ukrainian soldiers and supply military equipment for artillery, ground air defense and long-range strikes," the French president said.
He also added that Paris will innovate to meet the challenge posed by the massive use of drones.
"And for this, France relies on its defense industry," Macron said.
He noted that France's defense industry is in combat mode and is able to deliver more and faster than before.
