European countries should increase aid to Ukraine, - German Finance Minister Lindner

European partners should support Ukraine more.

This was emphasised by German Finance Minister, leader of the Free Democratic Party Christian Lindner, Censor.NET reports citing European Pravda.

Germany is making its contribution and, if necessary, "will mobilise even more," Lindner said at the European Liberal Party Conference in Berlin.

However, he added, it is unacceptable for Germany to do even more "so that others can continue to do too little".

Europe is a community of values, "and this must also show itself at this time," Lindner demanded, stressing that Germany already provides half of European aid to Ukraine.

"We will not back down from our commitments," he emphasised.
