Finance Minister Jаresko to discuss state debt, - Ministry of Finance

The Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko departed to San Francisco today for talks with a special committee of creditors. Should they fail to reach an agreement, Ukraine will have to use alternative mechanisms at the beginning of the next week.

This was announced by the ministry's press service to Ukrinform, Censor.NET reports.

"The minister has already left for the talks," the press service announced.

The Finance Ministry gives due significance to the negotiations, stating that given all the obstacles, in case the parties fail to reach an agreement on debt restructuring, Ukraine will have to use alternative mechanisms to fund its cooperation program with the IMF early next week.
