To successfully repel Russian aggression, Ukraine now needs artillery shells, ammunition, missiles for air defense - Bundeswehr General Freuding

Ukraine now needs artillery shells, ammunition and missiles for modern air defense, as well as armored combat vehicles
As Censor.NET informs, this was stated in an interview with DW by the head of the Special Staff of Ukraine at the German Ministry of Defense, the coordinator of Kyiv support, Major General Christian Freuding.
He noted that in order to provide Ukraine with the necessary artillery shells, Germany decided to act in three stages.
At the first stage, 10,000 shells will be transferred to Ukraine from the Bundeswehr's arsenals as a matter of urgency - that is, in the next few days. In the medium term, Germany has decided to support the Czech initiative and take over the costs of purchasing 180,000 shells, which will be handed over to Kyiv in the second half of this year.
And for the long term, in addition to the Czech Republic's plan, Germany concluded a bilateral agreement to supply Ukraine with another 100,000 shells from about the fourth quarter. Freuding has so far refused to answer with which country the agreement was concluded.
