The situation in the North
The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia sectors remains unchanged. There are no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups.
On the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, and Okhrymivka in the Kharkiv region. About 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Seredyna Buda, Popivka, Kindrativka, Oleksandrvika, and Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy region.
Hostilities in the East
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations. The enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Kupiansk, Sadove, Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Synkivka, Ivanivka, and Stepova Novoselivka in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled eight enemy attacks near Terny in the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops. The enemy also launched air strikes near the village of Cherneshchyna in the Kharkiv region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 10 localities, including Nevske in the Luhansk region; Yampolivka and Torske in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our troops repelled 14 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region; Spirne, Ivano-Darivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical situation. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 6 attacks in the areas of Berdychi and Pervomaiske in Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to knock our units out of their positions. The enemy also launched air strikes near the towns of Novobakhmutivka, Oleksandropil, Orlivka, Umanske, Yasnobrodivka, Karlivka, Ocheretyne in the Donetsk region. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Berdychi, Umanske, Netailove, Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense of our troops 18 times. The enemy also conducted air strikes near the settlements of Vodiane and Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.
The situation in the South
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, launched two attacks on the positions of our defenders near Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region and northwest of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region. It also conducted an air strike near the village of Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Malynivka, Poltavka, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy conducted one attack on the positions of our troops near Krynky in the Kherson region. The enemy launched an air strike near the village of Mykilske in the Kherson region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Zolota Balka, Kizomys, and Antonivka in the Kherson region.
Strikes on the enemy
Over the course of the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 1 control point and 7 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment. Missile troops destroyed 1 UAV ground control station, 1 air defense facility, 2 electronic warfare stations, 1 ammunition depot and 1 area of enemy personnel concentration.
