The authorities of Tatarstan (a subject of the Russian Federation) reported an attack by unknown drones on the territory of the republic.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Russian propaganda news agency RIA-Novosti.
"The drone attack took place in Tatarstan, there are victims, no serious damage, the press service of the head of the republic said," the statement said.
"The drone attack in Tatarstan targeted enterprises in Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk, and the technological process was not disrupted," RIA Novosti quoted local authorities as saying.
Telegram channels, citing residents of Yelabuga, reported that drones had arrived at the "Elaz-Naftoprodukt" oil refinery. They hit the plant and a dormitory. There are also preliminary reports of casualties.
Later, Russian media reported that two people were injured after a drone attack on the dormitory of the "Alabuga" Special Economic Zone.
It should be noted that the distance from the Ukrainian border to Yelabuga is about 1200 km.

According to media reports, Russia has organised the mass assembly of Shahed-136 combat drones from Iranian components for the Russian army in the "Alabuga" Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan.
