One soldier killed, two wounded yesterday, - ATO speaker

One soldier was killed and two wounded in the course of the anti-terrorist operation on Sept. 7.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the Presidential Administration speaker on the ATO matters Oleksandr Motuzianyk at a briefing on Tuesday.

"Yesterday, an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group crossed the Siverskyi Donets river after noon. It occurred near the Ukrainian-Russian border, between Novokyivka and Syze. The saboteurs attempted to pass over our strong point and advance into territory controlled by the ATO forces. Ukrainian soldiers brought off a battle to the invaders, and the enemy was forced to retreat. In the engagement, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, two were wounded," he announced.

No losses have been incurred by the Ukrainian forces at other directions.
