Leader of Odesa Avtomaidan Rezvushkin remanded in 60-day custody
Odesa Prymorskyi District Court has ruled to remand Odesa Avtomaidan leader Yevhen Rezvushkin in 60-day custody.
As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced today, Sept. 8, on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
The court upheld prosecutor's request and remanded Rezvushkin in custody for a period of 60 days until Oct. 7.
"The prosecutor did not point out risks in Rezvushkin's actions. When summoned under investigation, Rezvushkin made his appearance. He also attended the hearing, so there are no reasons to believe that he will hide from the court," defendant's lawyer said.
As reported, Rezvushkin may be sentenced to up to seven years in prison.
