MPs failed to dismiss Parliament's chief of staff Zaichuk
Verkhovna Rada has failed to dismiss Parliament's chief of staff Valentyn Zaichuk.
This is reported by Censor.NET.Deputies had four tries at the voting, but none of them was successful to score enough votes.
During the voting, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Oleksandr Hroisman repeatedly called on MPs to support 66-year-old Zaichuk's resignation."
Before the voting, Zaichuk himself stressed that the decision to resign was his personal initiative. He also reminded that he has held the post for 13 years, three months and three days.
Before the voting, deputies also made several unsuccessful attempts to adopt the agenda.
After Parliament's chief of staff resignation was voted down, Hroisman announced a 15- minute break.
