The Achilles battalion, together with Ukrainian guardsmen and paratroopers, stopped the breakthrough of Russian troops in the Kupiansk direction, destroying 21 pieces of vehicles.
According to Censor.NET, the fighters posted a video of the successful attack on Facebook.
The Russians attempted to expand their bridgehead near the Oskil River by moving two columns of vehicles in different directions. However, the Achilles unit, together with the 1st Burevii Operational Brigade and paratroopers from the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade, stopped the enemy's mechanised offensive.
As a result of the fighting, two T-80 tanks, nine infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) were destroyed and several other vehicles, including MT-LBs, armoured personnel carriers and eight more IFVs, were damaged.
