Russia fired more than 70 missiles at Ukraine. Putin deliberately chose Christmas to attack, - Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the massive shelling of Ukraine by Russian troops on 25 December 2024.
The head of state announced this in Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
"Every Russian massive strike takes time to prepare. It is never a spontaneous decision. It is a conscious choice not only of the target, but also of the time and date. Today, Putin deliberately chose Christmas to attack. What could be more inhuman? More than 70 missiles, including ballistic missiles, and more than a hundred attack drones. The targets are our energy. They continue to fight for a blackout in Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, our defenders managed to shoot down more than 50 missiles and a significant number of drones. Unfortunately, there are hits. As of now, there are blackouts in several regions. Power engineers are working to restore power as soon as possible," the statement said.
