US Ambassador: Russia has been using winter as a weapon for three years in a row

United States Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink expressed outrage over another Russian missile strike on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

Her statement was released by the US Embassy, Censor.NET reports.

"Russia's "Christmas gift" to Ukraine: more than 70 missiles and 100 drones targeting Ukrainian families celebrating in their homes and the energy infrastructure that keeps them warm," the statement reads.

As a reminder, Moldovan President Maia Sandu confirmed that a Russian missile flew through the country's airspace during the massive shelling of Ukraine.
