Number of enemy shelling in south increased by about third - Southern Defense Forces

Situation in the South on December 25

Russian occupiers in the south have increased the number of artillery attacks by about a third, including 350 to 370 attacks over the past day.

According to Censor.NET, citing RBC-Ukraine, this was reported by Vladyslav Voloshyn, a spokesman of the Southern Defense Forces, during a telethon.

"The enemy launched a combined missile strike in the morning. Our defenders of the sky worked quite actively. However, the last day was quite restless in our operational area as the enemy continued artillery attacks and increased them by about a third," he said.

The spokesman noted that while the number of artillery attacks ranged from 250 to 350 earlier, this time the occupants delivered 350 to 370 attacks.

At the same time, the number of enemy attacks in the Vremivka direction slightly decreased.

"There were 10 fewer attacks in the Vremivka direction - 34, not 44. As for the Kherson, or so-called Prydniprovske direction, the situation there has remained roughly the same for several weeks: the enemy conducted four assault operations," said Voloshyn.

According to the spokesman, Russians conduct five to seven assaults in this area every day.

The number of enemy attacks on Kherson and nearby settlements on the right bank of the Dnipro River with drones, guided bombs and unguided missiles is not decreasing.
