10,000 military enrolled under contract in 2015
10,092 soldiers have been enrolled on contract terms in Ukraine in 2015.
As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, this was announced by head of the Main Personnel Department of the General Staff Ihor Voronchenko."In 2015, 10,092 military have been enlisted on contract terms," he said.
According to Voronchenko, 479 of them are officers.
He said that the leadership of the General Staff intends to enroll 50-60 percent of Ukraine's army military personnel on contract basis.
As previously reported, the General Staff announced 1,915 military killed since the annexation of Crimea by Russia.
