Lithuanian drones for Ukraine

During this week, Lithuania will transfer 4,500 drones to Ukraine, the total cost of which is 5 million euros.

This was announced on social media by Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovile Sakalienė, Censor.NET reports.

"This week Lithuania is sending 4,500 drones worth 5 million euros to Ukraine," she wrote.

In addition, she said, at the last meeting of the Lithuanian government, a new accelerated procedure for the transfer of state property was approved.

These changes will significantly reduce the time required for the procedures, ensuring the rapid flow of aid to Ukraine," Sakalienė said.

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that thousands of drones that Lithuania promised Ukraine by the end of 2024 are still in warehouses, and the delay is explained by bureaucracy.
