Minister Abromavicius to deal with searches in IT companies

Minister of Economy Aivaras Abromavicius promised to urgently settle the issue of illegal searches in a number of companies operating in the IT sector.

As reported by Censor.NET, he announced it in his Tweeter.

Abromavicius said: "Numerous searches in IT companies is a reason to get worried. There have been five searches over this month only. It does not do any good to the investment climate."

"Tomorrow morning, I meet with IT market representatives to discuss the situation. Send the information on any violations by law enforcement authorities to [email protected]," the minister wrote.

He stressed: "I have already talked to Avakov, and we decided to settle the issue together, including involving the business ombudsman. We will stand up for law abiding IT companies!"
