Russia reports attack on refinery and oil depot in Volgograd. VIDEO

At four o'clock in the morning on 31 January, Ukrainian drones allegedly attacked the area of an oil refinery, a thermal power plant and an oil depot in Volgograd.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Russian media and social networks.

According to local reports, the explosions took place in the southern part of Volgograd. This is the area where the "LUKOIL Volgogradneftepererabotka" oil refinery plant is located.

Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov said that air defence forces repelled an attack by eight UAVs overnight. As a result of the wreckage of one of the UAVs falling, a fire broke out on the territory of the oil refinery, which was quickly extinguished. One injured refinery worker was hospitalised.
