Air defence forces destroyed 6 enemy UAVs in Cherkasy region. In regional centre, debris damaged balcony of high-rise building

On the night of 31 January, Russian occupiers attacked Cherkasy region. Air defence forces destroyed 6 Russian UAVs.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.

"According to preliminary data, 6 Russian drones were destroyed in the Cherkasy sky. In most cases, it was without consequences.

However, in the regional centre, the fragments of a ‘Shahed’ damaged a balcony in one of the apartments of a high-rise building. A fire broke out there and has since been extinguished. Law enforcement officers seized the wreckage of the UAV and a warhead," the statement said.

Taburets noted that no civilians were injured.
