Time has come - we need to create Armed Forces of Europe - Zelenskyy

Europe should have its own European army.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this today during a speech at the Munich Security Conference, Censor.NET reports.

According to Zelenskyy, in the summer, Russia plans to send its military to Belarus, allegedly for training. However, these forces could be used to attack a European country.

"The time has come - the European Armed Forces must be created. Europe must have its own European army. We need to create a united European Armed Forces so that the future of Europe depends only on Europeans," he emphasized.

"We are talking about military contingents that can ensure peace in Europe..." he added.
