France confirms emergency summit in Paris over war in Ukraine

European leaders are preparing for an emergency summit in Paris on Monday at the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron. The meeting is dedicated to discussing the situation in Ukraine and European security issues.
According to Censor.NET, citing Yevropeiska Pravda, Le Figaro reports.
The French president will gather "major European countries" in Paris on Monday to discuss "European security," Barro confirmed on France Inter radio. He did not specify which leaders would take part.
As a reminder, five European diplomats said that the meeting would be attended by France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain and Denmark, which will represent the Baltic and Scandinavian countries, Reuters reported.
Earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski announced a meeting of European leaders in Paris to negotiate on Ukraine.
