69 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka and Kupiansk directions – General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., 69 combat engagements have taken place at the front.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
Border settlements, in particular Shevchenkove, Malushyne, Velyka Pysarivka, Pokrovka, Oleksandrivka, Luhivka, Bila Bereza, Tymofiivka in the Sumy region, and Kamyanka in the Chernihiv region, are suffering from shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, our defenders repelled an enemy attack near Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out nine assault operations near Petropavlivka and Zahryzove. Six combat engagements are ongoing.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked four times near the localities of Zelena Dolyna, Borivska Andriivka, and Novoliubivka.
Defense forces repelled one Russian attack near Stupochky in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked seven times near Toretsk and Krymske. Three attacks are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupants have made 20 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near the settlements of Vodiane Druhe, Promin, Pokrovsk, Leontovychi, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Nadiivka, Troitske, Andriivka and Ulakly. The defense forces are holding back the enemy's offensive and repelled 17 attacks, three firefights are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified.
Today, in the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy made ten attacks near Kostiantynopil and Burlatske, one firefight is still ongoing.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, our defenders repelled one attack near Novopil.
Today, with the support of attack aircraft, the enemy attacked the village of Kamianske in the Orikhiv direction.
In the Prydniprovske direction, our troops repelled two enemy attacks towards Sadove.
AFU operation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation
In the operational zone in the Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces units repelled seven attacks by Russian invaders over the course of a day, with one battle still ongoing. The enemy fired over 220 times, including 12 times from multiple launch rocket systems, and launched 16 air strikes, dropping 21 guided bombs.
The enemy did not conduct any active hostilities in the Siversk direction today.
The situation in other frontline areas did not change significantly.
