Turkish media: Erdogan and Lavrov discuss ending war in Ukraine

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan meets with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. They discussed "the prospects for ending the war in Ukraine."

"Recep Tayyip Erdogan received Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the presidential complex," the statement said.
According to Turkish media, Lavrov's visit, which falls on the third anniversary of the Russian-Ukrainian war, is of "critical importance."
It is noted that the meeting lasted one hour, and it was, in particular, about ending the war.
Before the meeting with Erdogan, a meeting was held at the level of foreign ministers. At the final press conference, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that the Russian-Ukrainian war could be resolved through negotiations.
