Putin offers US to jointly develop rare earth deposits in Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine

Russia is ready to offer the United States to work with rare earth metals in Russia and the occupied territories of Ukraine, as well as to develop aluminium together.
According to Censor.NET, citing DW, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said this in an interview with Russian state television.
"We are ready to work with our partners, including our American partners, there," he said.
Russia has some of the world's largest deposits in the north of the country, as well as in the Caucasus, Siberia, the Far East and ‘new territories,’ Putin said, referring to the territories occupied by Russia during its war against Ukraine. According to him, he has already discussed this issue with his ministers.
Putin also said that Russia and the US could produce aluminium together:
"We could think about working together with American companies in this area. For example, in the Krasnoyarsk region, back in Soviet times, there were plans to build a new hydroelectric power plant and create additional aluminium production facilities," he said.
The day before, Trump said he was in ‘serious talks’ with dictator Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine and to promote future economic cooperation.
