Russia’s aggression against Ukraine threatens Great Britain - Starmer

Keir Starmer called for redoubled determination in helping Ukraine

Residents of the United Kingdom may also be threatened by Russian aggression.

This was stated by the Prime Minister of the country, Keir Starmer, to the Daily Mail, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.

"Putin's aggression does not stop at the borders of Ukraine. It threatens us here at home. After all, it's only been seven years since he (Putin - Ed.) launched a chemical weapons attack in Salisbury, the heart of England. Russian reconnaissance ships threaten our waters. Airplanes are flying into our airspace. The National Health Service of the United Kingdom is under cyberattacks that threaten people's lives," he emphasized.

According to Starmer, the British cannot hide from this threat.

"I know that working people have already felt the impact of Russian brutality through rising bills and prices. But if Ukraine is not properly protected from Putin, Europe will only become more unstable. This will cause us even more pain," he added.

The British prime minister also noted that history has repeatedly shown that tyrants like Putin respond only to force.

Earlier, the media reported that Starmer would present Trump with a plan to deploy European troops to Ukraine.
