Zelenskyy to Trump: Europe should participate in negotiations with RF
Europe, along with the United States and Ukraine, should be at the table for potential negotiations with Russia.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with US President Donald Trump, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
"This is not a war between the United States and Russia, this is Russia's war against Ukraine, against the Ukrainian people. These two parties should meet, sit down at the negotiating table, and then the United States, as Ukraine's strongest partner, can join. Europe should be there. I think this is very important," Zelenskyy said.
He emphasized the importance of Europe, as Ukraine is defending it, and the Europeans acknowledge this and provide support. Additionally, according to Zelenskyy, Putin wants to "pull back under his yoke" the countries that were former Soviet republics.
