Zelenskyy makes first public statement after dispute with Trump

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked US President Donald Trump for his support and visit.

He announced this on the X platform, Censor.NET reports.

In a short post, he thanked the US president, Congress and the American people, without reacting to the dispute that arose in the Oval Office of the White House.

"Thank you, America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. I thank the President, the Congress and the American people. Ukraine needs a just and lasting peace, and we are working for that," he emphasized.
