Zelenskyy: My team to meet with US team in Saudi Arabia next week

The teams of Ukraine and the United States will meet in Saudi Arabia next week.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Censor.NET reports.
"A very productive day today in Brussels for Ukraine and the whole of Europe. A meeting of the European Council at the level of leaders. Good meetings with the President of the European Council Costa and the President of the European Commission von der Leyen. Meeting with French President Macron, Belgian Prime Minister de Vever, and Austrian Chancellor Stocker on the sidelines of the summit. I also had a meaningful meeting with NATO Secretary General Rutte. We managed to discuss many details. I am grateful for the support of all the leaders," Zelenskyy said.
He added that he presented a vision that rapid progress towards peace is possible.
Together with our partners, we understand what steps can stop the war, guarantee security, and ensure a just and lasting peace. We are preparing relevant practical proposals. First and foremost, we can establish and fully monitor a ceasefire in the sky—halting missile, long-range drone, and bomb attacks on energy and other civilian infrastructure—as well as a ceasefire at sea, meaning the cessation of all military operations in the Black Sea, which would ensure calm and safe navigation," the President emphasized.
Zelenskyy stated that these priority steps are being considered as a prelude to a broader and more comprehensive settlement. The war must be stopped as soon as possible, and Ukraine is ready to work around the clock with its partners in America and Europe to achieve peace.
Next Monday, I am scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia for a meeting with the Crown Prince. Following that, my team will remain in Saudi Arabia to continue working with American partners. Ukraine is fully committed to peace. As we have conveyed to President Trump, Ukraine is acting—and will continue to act—exclusively in a constructive manner to achieve a swift and lasting peace," the Head of State announced.
