Almost 2,000 occupiers eliminated in month in south - Southern Defense Forces

The Defense Forces eliminated almost 2,000 occupiers and a significant amount of enemy equipment in the southern direction in a month.
As Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform, this was stated by the spokesman for the Defense Forces of the South, Vladyslav Voloshyn.
"During February, the situation was quite tense, the enemy carried out shelling of the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the territories of settlements adjacent to the line of combat contact, and also actively used all types of weapons. In a month, in the Zaporizhzhia direction, it carried out about 120 assault operations, about 30 in the Prydniprovske direction, almost 8.5 thousand artillery shellings," Voloshyn said.
According to the spokesman, the enemy used more than 12.5 thousand FPV drones there, more than 8,000 drones worked on resets. The Russians also dropped more than 450 guided bombs and fired more than 700 unguided missiles.
It is noted that in February the Southern Defense Forces destroyed almost 2,000 occupiers, 11 tanks, seven Buk-3M air defense systems, Buk-1 air defense systems, a 2S4 Tiulpan heavy self-propelled mortar, Tor-2M complexes, Strela-10 air defense systems, three BM21 Grad missile systems, as well as a large number of artillery systems, including Gvozdyka and Hyacinth self-propelled guns and others.
According to Voloshin, compared to January, the intensity of Russian actions was almost at the same level, but in the last days of February the enemy became somewhat more active - the number of shelling and assault operations increased slightly, in particular in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
