Tusk: Russia will be ready for new large-scale war against Europe in 3-4 years

According to allied intelligence, in 3-4 years, Russia will be ready for a much larger war than the one it is waging against Ukraine today.
This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a speech to the country's parliament, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
According to him, during the European Council summit on March 6, the leaders shared intelligence data of their countries, and Ukraine also provided them with analytical information "about what is beyond any doubt."
"Today, Russia is investing (in the military sphere - ed.) and gaining mobilization capabilities that indicate that it is interested in being ready for a full-scale operation in the next 3-4 years, not against Ukraine, but against someone much bigger," Tusk emphasized.
He believes that calls for increased defense spending in Europe are not "brazen calls for war" but a way to "avoid a catastrophe."
The Polish politician noted that other European countries should follow the lead of Poland, which already spends almost 5% of its GDP on defense (4.12%, the highest among all NATO member states).
Tusk considers those who are calling for no increase in defense spending to be "traitors to Western interests" or "useful idiots."
In this context, the prime minister mentioned his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban, who was the only European leader to vote against helping Ukraine at the European Council summit.
