US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he wants to find out whether Ukraine is ready to make difficult decisions to achieve peace.

The Secretary of State noted that the United States hopes for constructive negotiations that will determine Ukraine's position.
"It's important to clearly define Ukraine's intentions for a peaceful settlement, and to confirm that Ukraine is ready to make difficult decisions, just like the Russians," Rubio said.
On March 8, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reveals the composition of the Ukrainian delegation that will travel to Saudi Arabia next week for talks with the United States. According to him, Ukraine will be represented at the talks with the United States scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, in Saudi Arabia by the head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umierov, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa.
It was also reported that the Ukrainian delegation would propose the establishment of a ceasefire at sea, a ban on long-range strikes against Russia, and insist on the release of prisoners during the talks with the United States in Saudi Arabia.
