Russian troops have crossed Oskil River and are transferring forces across frozen body of water - OSGT "Khortytsia"

Occupiers are not giving up trying to cross Oskil

Russian troops used the frozen Oskil River to transfer part of their forces and are currently trying to push troops back using small craft.

This was reported on TV by Major Viktor Trehubov, spokesman for the Operational-Strategic Group of Troops "Khortytsia", Censor.NET reports.

"The Russians took the opportunity to transfer part of their vessels across the ice, now the Ukrainians' task is to knock them out of there. Plus, they are trying to push back across the river itself, using small craft, but this is not the "luck" they had before. That is why they now have certain forces that they are trying to use, and the Ukrainians, of course, are trying to return them back across the river," Trehubov noted.

Tregubov also reported that flooding on the Oskil River is not expected in the spring.

"Not now, most likely, there will be no flash floods there. On the one hand, it's good that there wasn't much snow, because otherwise the river would have frozen for a longer time, they would have transferred more troops, but a strong flash flood is not expected, and even there the river is not such that it will overflow its banks and wash them all away," he noted.
