Ruscists have become more active in South and are trying to return to right bank of Dnipro - Defense Forces
Russian troops have increased the number of attacks and attempted assaults in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions.
Vladyslav Voloshyn, a spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, said this during a telethon, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.
"The number of attacks and assaults is increasing every day. The enemy is getting more active in the Kherson direction. In particular, the situation is escalating in the Zaporizhzhia direction, as well as in the Huliaipillia and Orikhiv direction," he said.
According to Voloshyn, this is facilitated by statements of the Russian leadership and improved weather conditions.
He also said that the enemy troops are continuing their attempts to return to the right bank of the Dnipro.
"In particular, they are trying to land on the islands. Yesterday, there was also an attempt to land near Antonivskyi Bridge," added the Southern Defense Forces spokesman.
